High-quality cosmetic and anti-ageing treatments
Plasma pen lifting: The plasma pen works with modern plasma technology. Gas from the environment is converted into an electric arc and used for treatment.
Plasma lifting is a gentle alternative to surgery, visibly tightening the skin immediately and without damage. The epidermal skin layer is precisely removed, improving the appearance of the skin.
The Plasma Pen is a non-invasive skin tightening procedure. To be more precise, your wrinkles disappear without the therapist having to touch you, let alone injections or incisions.
During skin tightening, the plasma pen is passed over your skin at a distance of one to two millimetres. A so-called ionised arc emerges from the tip of the plasma pen. When the radiation touches the skin, the top layer vaporises in a flash and in spots, resulting in an improvement in skin structure and visual rejuvenation.
Depending on the area of skin to be treated, an individualised procedure is used. The necessary points are treated according to a predetermined pattern to achieve a lifting effect. The tightening of the skin is immediately visible and there is still the possibility of correction during the treatment.

Plasma Pen
- Who is it suitable for?
Plasma pen treatment is particularly suitable for patients who want to treat the first wrinkles around the eyes and the beginnings of drooping eyelids without surgery. Bags under the eyes – if present – should not be too pronounced. If the wrinkles are already more advanced, a surgical eyelid lift may be more suitable.
- Procedure of the treatment
Before the eyelid correction, the attending physician first conducts a personal consultation. During this consultation, he explains the possibilities of plasmage and sets realistic treatment goals together with the patient. The successes achieved are usually documented in detail using before and after photos.
- After-care
The plasma pen treatment causes tiny lesions on the skin, which usually heal within a few days. During this time, scabs form and eventually fall off by themselves. The scabs should not be scraped off under any circumstances in order to avoid scarring. Independent cooling should also be avoided, as the skin’s thermoreaction is temporarily disturbed after heat treatment. In the worst case, cooling measures could lead to frostbite. It is also advisable to avoid wearing make-up for the first few days and to use antibacterial cleansing products. The treated areas should be kept as dry as possible and should only be treated with the products recommended by a doctor.
- How many sessions
In most cases, one plasma pen treatment is sufficient to achieve the desired result. However, up to three sessions may be necessary for pronounced drooping eyelids. These are carried out at intervals of around 8 weeks.
- Advantages
Plasma pen treatment is a non-invasive form of eyelid correction and therefore very low-risk. No skin incisions are made so that the deeper tissue remains untouched. This also reduces the risk of scarring. In addition, the plasma pen treatment is completely contact-free and does not involve any foreign substances. Allergic reactions are therefore ruled out. Plasma pen treatment is a short outpatient procedure that causes little or no downtime. The effect of the Plasmage is immediately and permanently visible. If the wrinkles continue to form, there is nothing to prevent a repeat treatment.
- Disadvantages & risks
Eyelid lifting with the plasma pen is a superficial treatment in which the deeper layers of tissue remain untouched. This also limits the possibilities of this form of treatment. A surgical eyelid lift may be more suitable in certain circumstances, particularly in the case of very pronounced bags under the eyes. The side effects of plasma pen treatment are generally limited to temporary redness, swelling and crust formation. However, careful aftercare by the patient is essential for smooth healing. Scratching the scabs, for example, can lead to scarring.
- Surgical replacement?
Plasmage is a worthwhile alternative to surgical eyelid lifting at an early stage of skin ageing. However, it cannot completely replace it, as the plasma pen treatment only works on the surface. In the case of more pronounced drooping eyelids and bags under the eyes, the deeper tissue must also be taken into account. Here, surgical eyelid lifting generally achieves better results. - Before and after pictures
